How the Dual-Currency Model Works

Stake.us operates under US promotional sweepstakes law rather than casino gaming law. That legal distinction depends on two separate currencies, and on making sure no purchase is ever required to take part in the prize sweepstakes.

Gold Coins (GC) are used for entertainment play only. You can purchase Gold Coin packages, and you also receive them free through the daily login and promotions. Gold Coins have no cash value and can never be redeemed.

Stake Cash (SC) is the promotional sweepstakes currency. It cannot be purchased directly. Instead, it is included free as a bonus with Gold Coin packages, or obtained through no-purchase routes. Stake Cash won through play can be redeemed for crypto prizes at 1 SC = $1 USD equivalent, once the playthrough and verification requirements are met.

Getting Stake Cash without a purchase

1. Signup bonus: Free SC credited at registration, no purchase needed.
2. Daily login: 1 SC plus 10,000 GC every 24 hours.
3. AMOE mail-in request: Send a handwritten request card to the address in the Sweepstakes Rules. Each accepted request credits 5 SC. Follow the formatting rules exactly, as non-compliant requests are rejected.
4. Promotions: Social media drop codes, races, and raffles.

The playthrough rule

Every Stake Cash credit must be played through three times before it becomes redeemable. For example, 25 SC requires 75 SC in total gameplay. Gold Coin play does not count toward this requirement.
